FIRST HOUR: The San Francisco Budget - After months of hearings and 48 hours of last-minute negotiations, the Board of Supervisors' Budget and Finance Committee has agreed on the City's budget. How many of the Mayor's cuts did the Supervisors undo? Who won, who lost? What happens to SF when CA implodes? Paul Hogarth will help us break it all down. Read his take on it at BeyondChron.org.

SECOND HOUR: DJ Prefect gave us a preview for the upcoming installment of The Periodic Apocalypse: Occasional Lectures on the End of the World, which will cover "Capitalism: the Social Virus" on Pirate Cat Radio on July 31st from 10 p.m. to midnight.
